In 2027, the Motocross of Nations returns to the Netherlands, bringing the world’s elite offroad riders together to fight for the ultimate title. The TT Circuit will host again the prestigious event from October 9–10, 2027. This marks a high-profile comeback for the world's most important motocross race to the province of Drenthe, following its successful 2019 edition.
A World-Class Spectacle
The Motocross of Nations, often referred to as the "Olympics of Motocross," serves as a unique showdown between newly crowned world champions and the international motocross elite. In recent years, an average of 40 countries have participated, each represented by three selected top riders. Every year, the event attracts tens of thousands of fans from across the globe to attend the premier motocross event of the season.
Back to Assen
The organization is once again led by the Stichting MXoN Assen, in collaboration with the Motorclub Assen & Omstreken, LDP International, and the Royal Dutch Motorcyclists Association (KNMV).
The Motocross of Nations has been included in the 2027 proffessional sports calendar of the NOC*NSF (Dutch Olympic Committee), making the event eligible for national support. The Province of Drenthe and the Municipality of Assen also provide their backing, further cementing Assen and Drenthe’s reputation as a premier sports destination.
