Formula 1 Legend Emerson Fittipaldi to Attend TABAC Classic GP Assen

Emerson Fittipaldi, the two-time Formula 1 World Champion and Indy 500 winner, will be present on September 14 and 15 at the TABAC Classic GP at the TT Circuit of Assen.

Fittipaldi began his impressive racing career in Formula 1 in 1970. In 1972, the Brazilian won his first world title with the famous black-and-gold Lotus. Two years later, in 1974, he won the world title again, this time with McLaren. After his success in Formula 1, Fittipaldi switched to the American IndyCar Series in 1984, where he won the famous Indy 500 twice and claimed the IndyCar Championship in 1989.

Fans can look forward to a weekend full of speed and nostalgia. In addition to Emerson's presence, his son, Emerson Fittipaldi Jr., who races for MP Motorsport in the Eurocup-3 Championship, will make an appearance for the audience in Assen.

The TABAC Classic GP Assen returns to the TT Circuit Assen from September 13 to 15. Get ready for a racing weekend filled with legendary Formula 1 cars, classic sports and touring cars, authentic Grand Prix motorcycles, and historic sidecars in the "Cathedral of Speed"!
