Sidecar Legends Webster/Hewitt and Biland/Waltisperg return to Assen

From September 13 to 15, the TABAC Classic GP will take place at the TT Circuit of Assen. Renowned names of great champions such as Webster/Hewitt and Biland/Waltisperg are returning to the 'Cathedral of Speed.'

Sidecar Demo Race 

None other than the 10-time world champion Webster/Hewitt and the 7-time world champion Biland/Waltisperg will be present for a demo race during the TABAC Classic Grand Prix. Over 30 years ago, these teams were the biggest rivals of our Dutch champions Egbert Streuer and Bernard Schnieders.

Glory Days 

In the 1980s and early 1990s, the Sidecar World Championship experienced its glory days. During this period, sidecars were immensely popular with well-known riders and large starting grids. The stands at the TT Circuit were always packed with fans. The audience eagerly anticipated these spectacular races. This era is still remembered as a highlight in the history of sidecar racing. During the TABAC Classic GP, history comes to life as a large field of historic sidecars takes to the track at the TT Circuit once again.

 The third edition of the TABAC Classic GP also means a full program of races and demonstrations with historic racing cars, sidecars, and motorcycles on the world-famous TT Circuit Assen.
