1988

LDP manages Team Streuer in the FIM Sidecar World Championship for more than a decade with sponsorship of Northstate, Barclay, Lucky Strike and Hollywood. Egbert Streuer and Bernard Schnieders take home three world titles with Egbert taking a total of 22 Grand Prix wins, becoming the most successful Dutch motorcycle racer to this day.


During this period LDP also acts as chairman to the International Sidecar Racing Teams Association, representing the interests of teams and riders in the world championship.
