Twenty-five years ago, LDP International introduced a new concept at the Circuit of Drenthe. For the first time, spectators could witness motorcycle races, car races, and superkart races all on the same day. And most importantly: admission was FREE!
This was all made possible thanks to the event’s sponsors. It was rolling paper giant Imperial Tobacco that, in the year 2000, partnered with LDP International to embark on the Racing Day adventure. After ten years, the largest DIY chain in the Netherlands, GAMMA, took over. In 2021, the event was rebranded as JACK’S Racing Day. Today, it has grown into the largest combined car, motorcycle, and kart racing event in Europe!
Every year, thousands of visitors come to enjoy a thrilling day filled with exciting races and entertainment. Especially for the anniversary edition, the Racing Day weekend kicked off with spectacular demonstrations of Formula 1 cars, touring cars, and motorcycles along the Asser Vaart in the center of Assen.
