In an effort to promote the Superleague Formula Grand Prix with cars branded in soccer club colours, LDP organizes its first ever 'City Race Demo' in co-operation with the town of Assen. 


Over 10.000 fans witnessed Dutch drivers Robert Doornbos and Yelmer Buurman demonstrating the raw V12 power of their Superleague Formula racing car alongside the canal whilst Belgian goalie Jean-Marie Phaff stopped penalties taken by the drivers and by city youth in the market square.
